This website is an in depth look into the young heroine Caroline from the movie Coraline. The websites takes many different approaches to understand Coraline as a dynamic young hero. 

 

Our primary sources lays out the different portrayals of Coraline in different media. Critical readings is a page comprised of 20 different webpages which attepmt to explain Coraline as a whole in terms of character, setting, plot, really everything. The Journey Map section comprises of a in depth deconstruction of our heorine's heroic journey throughout the film adaptation. Our flowchart makes connections between heros that have similar stories lines to Coraline. Lastly our geneology page explains coraline through a cultural lense in attept to explain why we consider her a worthy heroine.
